What Is Elite Barbarians Evolution?
One of the new Evolutions arriving in Clash Royale this August is Elite Barbarians Evolution.
Already known for their incredible damage output, Elite Barbarians become even stronger after Evolution. Their cost remains 6 Elixir, but they gain a powerful new ability that greatly improves their offensive potential.
Elite Barbarians Evolution has a 1-cycle Evolution. Once evolved, they gain the ability to throw powerful Rage Spears during battle.
Elite Barbarians Evolution Abilities
Throws Rage Spears
After Evolution, Elite Barbarians automatically throw a Rage Spear at regular intervals.
A spear is thrown every 5 seconds, dealing 284 damage to a single target. If both Elite Barbarians hit their targets, the combined damage is roughly equal to a Fireball, making it a devastating ranged attack.
When the spear lands, it creates a Rage effect on the ground. This increases the movement speed and attack speed of both the Elite Barbarians and nearby friendly troops, allowing for much stronger pushes.
The Rage Spear only targets ground single-target units. It cannot hit air troops, and Elite Barbarians will not throw a spear if an enemy is within 3.5 tiles. Players can use this limitation to counter the Evolution more effectively.

Is Elite Barbarians Evolution Worth It?
Elite Barbarians have always been a high-risk, high-reward card due to their expensive 6 Elixir cost. However, Evolution gives them an entirely new level of offensive power with the addition of Rage Spears.
The combination of ranged damage, Rage support, and their already impressive melee damage makes Elite Barbarians Evolution one of the strongest offensive Evolution cards released so far.
If left unanswered, they can quickly overwhelm opponents and create unstoppable pushes.
